Matt, Thanks for all your help!
There is nothing like spending the afternoon down by the pool drinking cocktails in our new African hut. It’s hard to believe how cool it is laying on the lounges. The timber deck makes the hut a real show piece, all of our friends comment on how fabulous the Hut is.

In addition to the pool our Bali Hut has made this area that much more inviting giving us the tropical relaxed
resorty feel we were looking for in our home.

Dear Matt,
Having had our yard and pool renovated, we needed something to add even more to the "look". Tropical Lifestyle came to the party with their marvellous Bali Hut construction and we couldn't
be more pleased.
They measured and priced and gave advice and hints which we took on board and their finished
product is a dream come true. The statement it made to the surroundings is invaluable and made us the envy of our neighbours.
On our hot days we are absolutely amazed at the coolness and comfort it provides and being
by the pool just gives us the best in "home-resort" comforts. We were so pleased with the service and would recommend "Tropical Lifestyle" to everyone.

Dear Matt,
I found then entire process very simple, from purchasing to installation. My experience can be summed up as follows:
- kits are custom made, allowing you to get the exact size you need (we had a specific spot to put it, so customisation was imperative)
- kits come with everything you need, all pre-cut to size and a prefect fit when assembling
- the bits that are not pre-cut (battens, colourbond roofing and capping) were in plentiful supply meaning you are not scratching around using every last bit of material to finish to the job. We had a heap left over.
- the batten screws and roof screws were also in plentiful supply, again meaning you are not scratching round for every last screw to finish the job. Again, we had a heap left over.
- the instructions are very clear and easy to understand, even for "generic" type instructions
- it was exactly what we ordered, to the exact size (not approximate - EXACT)
- from initial order to ready for delivery was only 4 business days, with the kit delivered 3 business days after that (and that was a custom order)
- even the delivery guy was pleasant and helpful In the end - buying from the manufacturer is the only way to go if you want the right kit from the start. To be honest, the kit exceeded my expectations. The only special tools I needed and had to hire or buy were a post hole digger (hire $50), nibbler (hire $30) and tin snips (bought $20). In the end I also decided to screw the battens instead of nailing so I purchased 100 x 65mm batten screws ($30).

Hi there!
Our Bali Hut from Tropical Lifestyle is a DIY kit 1.5 x 2.5 / the floor out 500 to drip line on front back and one side giving us so much more floor space, but still keeping it cosy and not too big or not too small.
We have named ours a Bali Tea House. We serve our friends morning or afternoon tea with home made scones jam and cream. ( None fattening of course ).
We also indulge in one two or three red wines, with canapes in the late afternoon. I have installed lights and sound as sometimes we go into the evening, where it becomes a very intimate dining room.
So as you can see we can use our Bali Tea House all day every day.
It was a DIY built by myself 65 yrs and my wife 62 yrs. Not bad for two retirees.
We placed it in the far corner of our garden, overlooking two large fish ponds. On the back wall (fence) we have placed a door. The door to know where, and a window with no view. That just adds too the ambience of the whole setting.
We took great care with the placement in our small Town House block, and only removed plants we needed too so we could fit it in.
It looks like it has been there for years, not just three months.
WE JUST LOVE OUR BALI TEA HOUSE...

Dear Matt,
Having finally decided to have a Tropical Lifestyle Bali Hut erected on our property at Beaudesert, we wonder why we didn’t do it sooner! From our Bali hut we overlook the township and out to the Darlington Ranges. It is a lovely spot for leisurely weekend breakfasts and family get togethers. And with winter on the way, we have added a Gas Heater so we can still enjoy our Bali hut in the colder months.
There is nothing like swinging in the hammock with a cool drink on a Sunday afternoon under the shade of our Tropical Lifestyle Bali Hut!

The DIY gazebo kit was great! Hubby was very happy with the way the joints all fitted together perfectly. Considering all the complex angles, it was surprisingly free of frustrations during assembly. The family had a companiable time painting the roof pieces too. We love having this hideaway to visit down the garden and take our morning tea and forget about all our jobs as we check out a different part of our garden. The shrubs have grown up quickly and created a delightfully secluded area.

Our new Bali Hut really makes our back yard. It is a definite feature, and adds that real tropical look to the yard. We love to sit in it while watching the kids in the pool, the glass fence keeps the noise out, while
the thatched roof really keeps the heat out. The Kit was easy to put
together, the instructions were clear and easy to read, and all the timber pieces were cut to exact specification. I could not believe the detail in the timber cutting. And Matt was a pleasure to deal with, always very helpful. Regards

My wife and I have built 13 homes over the years and never had a more practical back yard. The Bali hut ads a warm tropical feel to the back yard and you won’t believe the difference in temperature in the hut it would have to be at least 10 degree cooler in summer – Its also 100% waterproof. We had sails, umbrella’s and pergola’s but nothing compares to the Bali hut.
If you’re reading this you’re in the right place; we found the gang at Tropical Lifesytle fantastic to deal with, open to negotiation and deliver a quality product. Honestly, if you want a quality product that will add value and WOW factor to your home then give these guys a go.

Just a few words: We are estatic with the product. We use it everyday many times a day, it's our little piece of paradise and a dream come true for me. Our children love it also we have picnics in it and just relax. What an excellent product and a decision we will never regret. We would like to thank-you all.
We did the DIY kit and it was fantastic that there are options for the customer. We are yet to have the grand christening with all our friends but we have had so many wonderful comments as we have put it on our facebook. We bought a DIY Bali Hut from your Bundall office last year, and the entire family are just loving our "new" room. We had Christmas day there with all the family, and our daughter's birthday party and whenever people visit now, we take them straight through the house, and out to the Bali Hut - we couldn't be prouder. It has added $1000's to our home (not that we'd sell now anyway!!).
Since this photo we have put up a frameless glass pool fence - that has only added to the great look.
With the palm trees growing around, its our little piece of tropical paradise.
And now I can always find my husband - he's in the Bali Hut!!
