Thatched roofing on a Bali hut is generally around 10 degrees cooler than any other shade material! Our Bali huts, gazebos and pavilions are available in two types of different roofing- thatched or shingled. They can be made from various wood types and can be custom-made to order in differing sizes and styles. All our Bali gazebos, huts and pavilions use kiln dried termite treated pine timber. Our Bali huts, gazebos and pavilions are ideal for any backyard entertaining area and can be erected by our trained teams or are available in DIY kits.
We can also re-roof your existing structure using our thatching, or if you have an old bali hut with good posts we can re-roof it for you.
Over the years we have created all sorts of custom designed Bali Beach Huts and Shingled Roof Gazebos ranging from simple 4 x 4 structures in back yards to fully attached structures as entertaining areas at the rear of clients’ houses.

At Tropical Lifestyle we use only the best products, such as high grade Australian structural treated pine with few or no knots that costs 3 times the price of normal pine but we know it is definitely worth it, to galvanised and stainless fasteners, larger timber beams, and rafters and trusses spaced at closer intervals to create a stronger structure. All the thatching we use is specially made to our specs over and above even the best made Balinese thatching. We have exclusive suppliers that ensure you are able to have a super strong waterproof structure. No corners are cut.
Our Bali beach huts can be produced in any size you like, but our standard sizes are generally always in stock.
We have both DIY kits and fully installed Bali Huts, the choice is yours. Tropical lifestyle only installs our Bali huts in our local Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern NSW area. However, when you purchase a DIY kit, we are able to help you locate a tradesman capable of installing your kit if required.
Our Premium Bali Hut kits start from $3,499 and we can transport them all around Australia.
